Changing Blink Recall Templates
All blink systems are set up with a number of standard recall templates, you can easily make simple text changes to these templates.
- First find the template you would like to change.
- Go to Recalls > Edit Letter Templates.
- In the drop down menu under ‘Select Template’ choose the template to change.
- Make changes to the text in the window displaying the template and simply save.
- You can make changes to letters, emails and also SMS messages.
Creating a new template
You can also make changes to a template and save it as a new template.
- To do this find the template you would like to use as the base template and make the changes
- In the drop down menu under ‘Select Template’ choose Create New Template
- Write the name of the name of the new template in ‘Save As’
- Save the new template.
- The new template will now appear in the drop down list for you to use in the future.
When making changes to any type of template it is always a good idea to send a test message before sending messages to patients – do this through a test patient.
